Thanks very much Bob. So far so good, and glad you could all make it to
the new list project. Some good conversations happening and I am excited
about seeing some more technical discussions come our way. I am also
privileged to know a lot of the members personally so it really is quite
fun (given that I can visualize their faces when I read their postings)
A lot of great minds sharing this list, hope to serve you well as we get
ramped up.
Cheers all,
Mark

Ladies and gentlemen --
I think that it is in order to formally introduce the moderators of this
mailing list. These people were part of the initial setup and
configuration of the SCADASEC-L mailing list, and have been invaluable
with this inception. Those people are as follows:
Mark Fabro (President/CEO of Lofty Perch, Inc.) is a recognized industry
member/leader in cybersecurity and critical infrastructure protection
(CIP). Mr. Fabro brings almost 20 years of experience to the security
realm from Lofty Perch. Prior to Lofty Perch, Mr. Fabro led various
national security and 'CIP' initiatives at BearingPoint's Security and
Identity Management practice, and was recently recognized as one of
Consulting Magazine's 'Most Influential Consultants in the World' for
his work in cybersecurity and infrastructure protection, and chairs
several working groups pertaining to 'CIP', control systems, SCADA and
cybersecurity, as well as provides insight pertaining to several
national security initiatives related to information assurance within
the United States, Canada, and abroad.
Leif Ericksen (pronounced "lay-fff", and no relation to the Norse Viking
who founded Greenland) is a member of the Chicago INFRAGARD
organization, and has served as a volunteer for various amateur radio
and computer security related users groups around the Greater
Chicagoland Area. Leif is a long-time friend of mine, and I trust him
to be objective and as unbiased with his opinions on subjects matters
(such as this) that requires delicate and fair decisions.
Please join me in welcoming *your* moderators to this mailing list...
