[SCADASEC] Live Free of Die Hard

I also find it laughable that the hacker, Matt Farrell, is played by the
same kid, Justin Long, who plays the patronizing little bastard in all the
Mac vs. PC commercials.  Not to mention, Warlock/Freddie, the hacker God, is
played by none other than Kevin Smith (Silent Bob).  

One of the funniest aspects of the entire movie is the reason the bad guy
*is* the bad guy.  I won't disclose it for those that haven't seen the
movie.  Put it this way... if it were true... pretty much every one of us on
this list, standards boards/committees, consultants, etc., etc., etc. would
all be in jail or considered criminals by DHS.

Howdy,

I also don't get out to the movies much as I generally get into fights 
with all the jerks talking on their cells at my local multiplex, but 
anyway I cringed at parts of this movie not because I thought the cyber 
scenes were believable but because I knew one of our pointy-haired 
bosses was going to see it and think that those SCADA related hack 
scenes were true.

My favorite part is the scene where the bad guys discover that McClane & 
his hacker helper are in a plant in West Virgina and they decide to send 
some natural gas their way. When he is asked how much gas to send their 
way the head villain Thomas Gabriel replies, "All of it!"

I laughed so hard I fell off my chair.
